Billing Questions
How does billing for my monthly service plan work?
Your Anytime, Night & Weekend and Select Talk Minutes will be replenished automatically every 30 days by charging the credit or check card you provided when signing up for service. If your Select Talk balance falls below $5.00 during the month it will be automatically replenished to the level you have pre-selected. Text message reminders will be sent to your phone when your Select Talk balance falls below $10.00.

What are my payment options?
AirLink Mobile accepts the following major credit cards as a form of payment: American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. We also accept Bank check cards with the Visa or MasterCard symbol

What is AirLink AutoPay?
AutoPay is what we call AirLink Mobile's automated billing process for monthly rate plans and additional monthly Select Talk Minutes.

How does AirLink AutoPay differ from pre-paid & post-pay service?
AutoPay leverages the best of pre-paid and post-pay services. AirLink Mobile’s AutoPay affords subscribers the low minute rates, convenience and coverage of post-pay service without credit hassles and the control of a pre-paid service without the nuisance of calling cards.

How do I receive my monthly bill?
Customers receive an e-mail notification at the end of each billing cycle reminding them to review their electronic invoice online. Customers have the ability to review their account (estimated usage) anytime online in the "Account Manager" section of the AirLink Mobile web site (www.AirLinkMobile.com).

What does AirLink Mobile do to secure my privacy over the Internet?
AirLink Mobile uses "SSL" (Secure Sockets Layer), the industry standard for securing web interactions. Any information that you send to us while on our secure site is "encrypted" before it is transmitted over the web. This prevents eavesdroppers from intercepting your personal or credit card information. Encrypted data is stored on servers that are not accessible via the Internet, so once the encrypted information is stored, it is only accessible by “backend” systems.

Is there a contract with AirLink Mobile?
Yes, but unlike the 2 year contracts of other carriers, AirLink's initial term is thirty (30) days and automatically renews for successive thirty (30) day periods.

Is there an early termination fee?
Yes. If you terminate or cancel your service, you owe a termination fee equal to any/all amounts of money remaining on your account.

What amount will my credit card or check card be billed when I purchase my AirLink Mobile phone?
When you purchase your phone you are charged for the following: 1) the price of your new phone, 2) the prorated amount of the remainder of the current month of service, 3) your upcoming month of service, 4) your activation fee including your Select Talk Minutes (roll over minutes) and 5) all applicable taxes.

What will my credit card or check card be billed monthly?
Just like post-pay you will be billed for you monthly access and overage (Select Talk Minutes), and all applicable taxes.

Does AirLink Mobile charge for unanswered calls or busy signals?
No. However, completed calls are charged from "send" to "end."

Does my AirLink Mobile service include night and weekend minutes?
AirLink Mobile offers its customers bundled Night and Weekend Minutes with their monthly rate plan.

When do Night and Weekend Minutes begin and end?
There are two different time periods for AirLink Mobile Night and Weekend Minutes and they are dependent on the price plan you choose. In one set of plans, Night and Weekend Minutes can be used any time between 9:01p.m. and 6:59 a.m., Monday through Friday. Weekend Minutes can be used any time from Friday at 9:01p.m. and Monday morning at 6:59 a.m. In the other set of plans, Night and Weekend Minutes can be used any time between 7:01p.m. and 6:59 a.m., Monday through Friday. Weekend Minutes can be used any time from Friday at 7:01p.m. and Monday morning at 6:59 a.m.

What if I don't use all my Night and Weekend Minutes in a given month?
Night and Weekend minutes do not roll-over. Each month you receive another bundle of Night and Weekend Minutes.

What are "Anytime" Minutes?
Anytime Minutes are typically categorized as minutes that are used between the hours of 7am and 9pm Monday thru Friday. However, as the word implies they are minutes that can be used at any time of the day, any time of the month. For example, if you use up all of your Night and Weekend Minutes, but you still have 150 of your 200 Anytime Minutes left you will be able to use your Anytime Minutes during weekdays, at night or on the weekends.

What if I use up all my Anytime Minutes?
AirLink Mobile will automatically add $10 worth of Select Talk Minutes to your balance directly from the credit or check card that was used when you initially signed up for service, once your Anytime balance has dropped below the minimum level. Any remaining balance of Select Talk Minutes will roll-over to the upcoming month. If you are using a PIN to add money to your account, you will need to purchase and redeem a PIN that covers the full amount due.

What if my "Select Talk Minutes" account balance falls below $5.00 during any given month?
When your Anytime Minutes balance falls below $5.00 during any given month, AirLink Mobile will send you an e-mail notification as well as an SMS text message (e-mail to your mobile phone) alerting you that you are approaching 0 minutes and that we are going to charge your credit or check card for an automated Select Talk Minute bundle to reach your pre-selected target balance. You may be suspended when you fall below $5 and still have just a few minutes left in your Select Talk account balance.

What if my balance drops to 0 minutes during any given month and I have no funds on my credit card or check card?
AirLink Mobile will "suspend" your wireless service and it will remain suspended until you make proper payment arrangements. If your account remains suspended for more than 10 days, we will treat this as a termination and your account will be declared inactive. If your account remains inactive for more than 30 days, your account will be canceled and your mobile number will be lost.

What are Select Talk Minutes?
Select Talk Minutes are used when dialing directory assistance (411) or whenever your Anytime Minutes have been depleted. Your unused Select Talk Minutes automatically roll over to the next month.

Why does AirLink Mobile automatically add Select Talk Minutes to my account?
AirLink Mobile encourages all our customers to maintain an account balance of at least $5 worth of Select Talk Minutes at all times. To ensure AirLink Mobile customers always have access to their phone, when your balance falls below five dollars AirLink Mobile automatically adds Select Talk Minutes to your account to reach your pre-selected target balance.

How many Select Talk Minutes will AirLink Mobile add to my anytime balance?
AirLink Mobile will add a maximum of six $10.00 Select Talk Minute bundles during any month. Excluding the first automatic Select Talk Minute bundle (when you drop below 13 Anytime minutes), AirLink Mobile enables its customers to select the additional number of automatic Select Talk Minute bundles. This can be done by accessing the Add Select Talk Minute area within the "Account Manager" section via the Web or by contacting customer service.

What happens when I use up my Select Talk Minutes?
AirLink Mobile will automatically add a maximum of six Select Talk bundles during a given month when your Select Talk Minutes balance drops below $5.00. After that, you are required to contact Customer Service to purchase any additional blocks of Select Talk Minutes. This is to help avoid unauthorized use of you account.

What if I don't get to use all my Select Talk Minutes during the month?
Unused Select Talk Minutes are automatically rolled over to the next month. However, it is important to realize that the Select Talk Minutes that are carried over to the next month are considered extra minutes, and can only be used after the regular monthly Anytime Minutes that are included in your monthly rate plan are used.

Can I add Select Talk Minutes to my account?
AirLink Mobile offers its customers the ability to add Select Talk Minutes in increments of $10, $20, $30 and $50 bundles.

Suspension & Termination
How can I protect my phone service from being suspended?
First and foremost, your best protection is to monitor your minute usage on a regular basis and change your plan according to that usage. If we are unable to process your monthly access fee or Select Talk Minutes (through your pre-selected credit card), your Night & Weekend Minutes will expire and your service will be suspended until alternate payment arrangements are made.

What happens when I have been suspended?
You owe a termination fee equal to any/all amounts of money remaining on your account.

What if I am suspended but want to restore my service and keep my number?
If you contact an AirLink Mobile representative within 30 days of your account being suspended, it is possible to restore your service and keep your original mobile number. You will be responsible for any outstanding amounts owed, plus a reactivation fee of $35, plus that month's monthly service fee.
